This is my cyber-log cabin where I retreat to talk to myself. It’s quiet and far from the madding crowd. The food chain of popularity on my other blog can be stressful.

The guilt that you harbor for not visiting everybody on your blogroll can be overwhelming. I would love to be able to do that. I just don’t have time.

So here I am. A little self talk and contemplation and I’ll be on my way.

I need to decide if I am writing about the right things. I am still all over the map. One thing is certain and that is that I am not trying to jot down everything that I have ever thought about. I notice now when newbies come on so strong and want to steamroll over issues. Most people out here just want to chat and learn about other people.

They want to be reassured that there are people out there with the same problems, same dreams..they just want to be reassured that they are normal and not alone. I can understand that. Now.

People need to laugh and forget about their cares. If I can do that for them once and a while then I should consider my blog a success. There are plenty of places to get news or learn about politics, religion and philosophy.

I guess that I should get back there. I need to stick my motto on my sidebar;

People don’t care how much you know,

People want to know how much you care.

It bothers me that CSIS or the CIA will now be searching all of my e-mails and Blogs. Nothing is secure on the Internet. Everything that you have ever clicked on or written is laid bare for our security agencies to peruse.

So now some poor sap is going to spend the rest of the day reading all of my posts.

Well somethings are universal..I came back here to find that my calendar doesn’t seem to work and since I am unfamiliar with most of the spartan amenities over here it is hard to tell if this frickin’ thing is even on.

I am still stunned at how poorly my old blogosphere location is operating. Blogging was supposed to peak this year..so with more people quitting you would think that most of the kinks would get fixed so that they wouldn’t lose anybody..you’d think.

I find it harder to blog these days because I am days away from my one year anniversary with over 200 posts under my belt (about 20 worth keeping) but the camaraderie has subsided and I am unsure if it is related to the Winter Blahs or I have crossed the Rubicon.

Out here you are a Novelty for a while and catch a few birds in your sails for a couple of months and then they are off to find fresh blood to impress..that and the technical screwups that simply exasperate so many people that they quit commenting.

To be honest I don’t have the same zeal either. I am talking to myself and obviously thinking out loud but I am confuzzled as to whether I need to invent a new pseudocyberlogger and take on a new angle or just continue to mope around and become one of those painfully honest train wreck bloggers who give you way way way too much tedious information and then proceed to drag you by the throat down the drainpipe of endless misery and unfathomable despair with them…

Nope….I need my Schadenfreude!

ANALyze This!

I have always been troubled by the fact that the root word in analyze is of course ANAL.

It seems as if most homo escapeons (modern humans) scurry about like early mammals darting to and fro amongst the feet of the Corporate Dinosaurs trying to remain undetected. Under a cover of cognitive darkness that is 50% naturally self imposed and the other half provided by the Corporate Mandate designed to keep us busy with trivia, celebrity news, and misinformation about current events that have little effect on our daily lives.

Our prototype mammalian ancestors lucked out when Fate intervened and delivered a huge foreign object into the Ocean just off of the coast of Mexico which began a series of events that ended the reign of our Saurian Overlords.

I wonder if huge climatic changes will end the reign of our current Behemoth Rulers. If the present day Dinosaurs cannot adapt to the changing environment will this open a door for the lab rats to escape from the maze of our rat race?

If the Fates allow us another chance will enough of us unscrew our heads from our butts to take advantage of this opportunity or am I simply overANALyzing the situation? My nagging optimism somehow doubts it but we are resourceful little buggers. Nature finds a way.
